A well put together museum, operated by the Eastern Band of the Cherokee, tells the important story of Sequoyah, who was born in the village of Tuskegee, which is now lost to history. The museum features dioramas, interactive exhibits, and great audio visual representation of this important historical figure. Definitely recommend and also stop across the road to see nearby Fort Loudon.

Sequoyah famous for teaching his people how to read and write in Cherokee. Another great person that made history and he also gave me a message at the end of his big portrait he said that I can also make something that will be useful or change anything that will help others

Nice and neat little museum in Eastern Tennessee. Learning about the life of Seqouyah was fun and intriguing. Good staff, and very clean. Overall, not a bad place to check out if you're in the area, and an easy recommend for anyone who's interested in Native American culture.
