This was a small museum with interactive screens. It was very informative of Sequoyah & his history. We enjoyed our visit and recommend seeing it for yourself if you're in the area.

I had been to this wonderful museum dedicated to the life and legacy of the legendary Cherokee, Sequoyah, before, but it had been several years since I visited. Also, my friends had not had the pleasure of visiting so we made this our first stop of the day. They have renovated and enlarged the displays and also added additional outside buildings since my last visit. We were very impressed with everything. It is a great place to learn more about the legendary Cherokee Sequoyah, who is most famous for inventing the Cherokee alphabet and teaching his people how to read and write in their own native language. Sequoyah is one of my favorite American/Native American heroes. I highly recommend you make it a point to visit here. It is a vital part of our American history and I know you and your family and friends will thoroughly enjoy it! It is also owned and administered by the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation so you know it is properly done. Admission is very reasonable and they also give discounts for veterans, military, AAA and seniors.

The staff was super friendly and the museum was great. Large fonts on placards and the journey through the museum was a journey of Sequoyah's life. Informative, affordable and generally a lovely experience!

Well-designed museum with interesting interactive displays. Traces the amazing life of the great Cherokee thinker & inventor. Allow 60-90 minutes to explore the exhibits. Beautiful setting.
