This may be a four or five star place, but we did not go inside the museum. The grounds are nice and there is a burial mound containing almost 200 remains of several Cherokee Clans that lived in the area that is now under the lake. Reflecting on this history isn't a bad thing.

Very nice. They were picnic tables there in a pavilion. There was plenty of room for my grandchildren to run and run and run more.

What an amazing little gem! We'd been to Ft. Loudon to wander a few times, but never stopped at the Sequoyah museum. Thankfully our American Heritage Girls group had an outing there. We loved this museum and it's dioramas!! The staff was very friendly and we had a wonderful visit!

Such an interesting history!! Great little museum, not expensive to visit. Very interesting short multimedia videos, buildings to see when you walk outside, and well laid out museum inside. Make sure to visit Fort Loudoun 4 minutes away while you are there!!

Our trip began with a spontaneous trip to the Sequoyah museum. The museum is off in a space of its own surrounded by nature and a lake or two. Upon entering the museum I was immediately stunned by how beautiful it was. The museum takes you through not only history, but through his entire life work and what his legacy is. Truly remarkable. I suggest bringing a snack to eat out on the lawn. Also, while you are there take a look at the burial mounds and cabins.

Great place to bring the kids, plenty of videos and interactive activities for everyone to participate in. Outside grounds are beautiful and upkept well. 5 dollars entry fee for adults, but they offer discounts for triple A and seniors. Kids under 12 are free. Tables outside in the shade with views are a great place for lunch! Gift shop was reasonably priced and labeled nicely. Facility was clean and comfortable! Come have a great day
